On October 15-16, 2024, the retreat took place at the Edith Macy Center in Briarcliff Manor, NY.

Twenty-Four University laboratories gathered in an informal setting to share their recent work and ideas related to infection, immunity, and metabolism with perspectives ranging from cell biology and biochemistry to virology, microbiology, and pathogenesis of human diseases. Thirty-Four talks and nineteen posters were presented. Meals and recreational times were set aside for team building and socializing in the beautiful NY state autumn environment.
